In December 2025, Partners Group, one of the largest firms in the global private markets industry, closed its US$160 million lead investment in Omie, the Brazil-based cloud-based management software company serving small and medium-sized enterprises. The investment was announced in September 2025. The round was predominantly secondary, providing partial exits for early investors, with a smaller undisclosed primary portion to support Omie's continued growth and product development. All previous Omie investors continued to participate in the round.
Founded in 2013 by Marcelo Lombardo and Rafael Olmos, Omie operates a cloud-based enterprise resource planning (ERP) and financial management platform that connects companies with accounting firms, using consultants to drive software adoption among Brazilian SMEs. As of the closing, the company reported approximately US$112 million in annual recurring revenue, has been cash-flow positive since mid-2023, and serves approximately 180,000 customers. The platform processes US$6.5 billion in monthly invoices and is growing at an annual rate of 30 to 40 percent. The investment is consistent with Partners Group's growth equity strategy, which is anchored in the technology and healthcare sectors and has seen the firm close approximately US$1 billion in growth equity deals globally during 2025, including co-leading a fundraising round for India-based HR technology firm Darwinbox and acquiring a significant minority stake in U.S.-based orthopaedic solutions innovator restor3d. Partners Group reported US$185 billion in assets under management as of December 31, 2025, with investment programs and custom mandates spanning private equity, private credit, infrastructure, real estate, and royalties.
