Remsoft acquires Australian forestry technology firm LOGR

Cross-border deal expands global forest intelligence platform into Asia-Pacific

On October 20, 2025, Remsoft Inc., a Fredericton, New Brunswick-based global leader in Forest Intelligence solutions, completed its acquisition of LOGR Pty Ltd, a Malvern, Australia-based forestry technology company recognized for its innovative real-time data capture and operational multi-party analytics platform. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The transaction is Remsoft's first acquisition in Australia and supports the company's broader global growth strategy, which is backed by U.S. private equity firm Banneker Partners. Alvarez & Marsal acted as financial advisor on the transaction.

LOGR delivers mobile-first forestry software that simplifies field data collection, improves visibility, and enhances safety and compliance at busy delivery sites by tracking each transaction in real time and automatically recording product details, optimizing transportation and logistics. By introducing custody tracking earlier in the process, the platform enhances visibility and control across the chain of custody and integrates with enterprise systems to provide mills, contractors, and landowners with greater traceability and operational insight. The acquisition advances Remsoft's strategy to build a unified, cloud-based ecosystem connecting every stage of the forest value chain, from harvest planning to mill delivery, and is expected to accelerate Remsoft's expansion across the Asia-Pacific region and other global markets. Following closing, LOGR co-founders Grant Hull (CEO) and Craig Hull (Director and COO) joined the Remsoft team.

BLG acted as lead M&A counsel to Remsoft, with a team led by Frazer House that included Laura Costen, Sydney Dennis-Birnbaum, and Akaash Viswanathan (Corporate); Tommy Hong (Labour & Employment); Jiwan Sangha (Disputes); and Richard Johnson (Intellectual Property). Lander & Rogers acted as Australian legal advisor to Remsoft, and Motus Legal acted as counsel to LOGR.
