Royal Bank's US$500 Million Offering of Floating Rate Deposit Notes

Royal Bank of Canada issued US$500 million of Floating Rate Deposit Notes due February 2004 (listed on the London Stock Exchange plc) on February 27, 2001, pursuant to its US$10 billion Euro Debt Issuance Programme. The dealers for the offering were Morgan Stanley & Co. International Limited, Royal Bank of Canada Europe Limited, Barclays Bank PLC and Deutsche Bank AG London.

Frank L. Picciola and Peter S. Noble of Ogilvy Renault’s London office represented Royal Bank of Canada in the offering. The dealers were represented by Marianne Sussex and Kevin Gormely of Stikeman Elliott’s London office.
