US Gold Completes Three Takeover Bids

On March 23, 2007, US Gold Corporation successfully completed simultaneous takeover bids for three gold exploration companies, Nevada Pacific Gold Ltd., Toné Resources Limited and White Knight Resources Ltd. Each of the target companies is based in Vancouver and listed on the TSX Venture Exchange. The total consideration for the three transactions was approximately US$160 million. US Gold, which is based in Denver and Toronto and listed on the TSX and AMEX, is a gold exploration company with one of the largest holdings of gold exploration claims in the Cortez Trend in Nevada.
