Advises both the public sector and the private sector on public–private partnership (P3) and alternative financing and procurement (AFP) transactions, including most recently as counsel to the sponsors regarding the Hurontario Light Rail Transit project, the Macdonald Block Reconstruction project, the Highway 407 East Extension project (Phase 1 and Phase 2), the New Toronto Courthouse project and the CAMH Phase 1C Redevelopment project. Also advises clients regarding merger & acquisition transactions, strategic alliances and joint ventures, financings, reorganizations and other private equity– and securities-related transactions. Recognized as a leading lawyer in The Legal 500 Canada in the area of Infrastructure & Projects, in Chambers Global (2012–2015) and in Chambers Canada (2016–2018) in the area of Projects: PPP and Infrastructure.
