A partner in the Dispute Resolution and Investigations & White Collar Defence practices, Cara has a wide range of experience in complex litigation before all levels of court, including the Supreme Court of Canada. She has particular expertise in commercial fraud and debt recovery actions, including injunctions, seizures, Anton Piller (civil search) orders, Mareva (asset-freezing) injunctions and Norwich orders; contractual disputes; shareholders’ rights disputes; as well as white collar investigations and defence. She also has extensive mediation and arbitration experience. Clients turn to Cara to lead large and complex multijurisdictional cases, which often involve coordinating and managing teams of numerous professionals and analyzing the impact of the laws from different jurisdictions. She is a member of the Governance Committee of the Montréal Children’s Hospital Foundation and a director of Repercussion Theatre (Shakespeare-in-the-Park).
