He also counsels clients on trademark and copyright issues involved in corporate transactions and financings. Gary represents clients both within and outside Canada, including professional sports organizations, chemical, automotive and pharmaceutical companies, retailers, technology and consumer product companies, among others. Gary is fluent in both English and French. Gary has written and spoken on a wide range of topics in the area of intellectual property law. He is a fellow of the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada (IPIC) and is a former chair of IPIC's Trademark Legislation Committee.
