Ashley Stacey is a senior associate with Olthuis, Kleer, Townshend LLP. She is a member of the Mohawk Nation in Kahnawà:ke, located in southern Quebec. Ashley’s practice is focused on advising First Nations across Canada and their businesses on corporate and commercial transactions, including on-reserve economic development, corporate governance, strategic investments, contracting matters, and acquisitions. She also specializes in First Nation taxation matters and trusts. Ashley is called to the Bar in Ontario and Manitoba. She holds a JD from Osgoode Hall Law School, where she received several academic and leadership awards and served as President of the Osgoode Indigenous Students Association. She is conversant in French and resides in Montreal, QC.
