Bryce Kraeker is the leader of Gowling WLG’s Capital Markets and Public M&A Practice Group in Canada and past managing partner of the firm’s Waterloo Region office. Bryce regularly provides counsel to issuers and underwriters on raising debt or equity through both public and private corporate finance transactions, including bought deals and other prospectus offerings and private placements. He has over 25 years of experience implementing limited partnership and other fund structures for a variety of asset classes including real estate, infrastructure, credit, private equity, venture capital and other pooled funds. He also supports his Canadian and international clients on dealer, adviser and investment fund manager regulation. Bryce manages all aspects of his clients' domestic and cross-border M&A activities. He often provides advice on corporate governance best practices and policies, directors' duties and liabilities and public company disclosure obligations. Bryce’s clients benefit from his strong negotiating skills, practical regulatory advice, and his ability to simplify complex securities laws.
