Erin Tait is a partner in Koffman Kalef's Commercial Real Estate & Development team. She assists and advises clients with the purchase and sale of commercial real estate (office, retail, industrial, hotel, development property); negotiation and preparation of purchase and development agreements; drafting disclosure statements under the Real Estate Development Marketing Act; real estate marketing compliance matters, including project development sales; obtaining municipal approvals and entitlement processes—subdivision and servicing requirements; structuring and implementing airspace parcel subdivisions for mixed-use developments; Strata Property Act compliance matters; and real estate structuring matters. Erin's clients include developers, purchasers, and vendors of commercial real estate, and commercial landlords and tenants. She remains current by regularly attending industry events organized by NAIOP, UDI, and CLEBC, and is a past contributor to several CLEBC publications. Erin is consistently recognized as a leading practitioner in her practice area by The Best Lawyers in Canada, The Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory, and Chambers & Partners Canada. She was called to the British Columbia bar in 2001.
