A partner in Gowling WLG’s Toronto office, France Tenaille is a member of the firm’s Business Law, Energy, Infrastructure and Mining groups and leads its Latin America team. With over 30 years of experience, her practice focuses on complex corporate, corporate finance, project finance and M&A transactions, as well as commercial agreements, with a particular emphasis on energy and natural resources. She has extensive experience advising on mining-related transactions, including earn-in options, joint ventures, mine operating agreements, off-take agreements, royalties, strategic alliance agreements and layback agreements. Prior to relocating to Canada, France practised for more than five years at a leading law firm in Caracas, Venezuela. Her unique international training and experience enable her to advise Canadian and international clients on a broad range of Latin American matters, as well as Latin American clients on Canadian and cross-border transactions.
