Recent representative transactions include acting for the public sector regarding the Scarborough Subway Extension project, the Yonge North Subway Extension project, the Hurontario Light Rail Transit project, the Highway 407 East Extension project (Phase 1 and Phase 2), the New Toronto Courthouse project, and the CAMH Phase 1C Redevelopment project; acting for OMERS Infrastructure Management Inc. in its purchase from SNC-Lavalin Inc. of a 10.01% equity interest in 407 International Inc.; and acting from the lenders to a consortium regarding its bid to purchase of ONRoute Service Centres business. Recognized as a leading lawyer in Chambers Global (2012–2015) and in Chambers Canada (2016–2018) in the area of Projects: PPP and Infrastructure. Called to the Ontario Bar in 1992.
On March 15, 2017, the L.F. Wade International Airport Redevelopment Project in Bermuda achieved commercial and financial close. This project is being implemented under a framework agreement between the Government of Bermuda and the Canadian Commercial Corp. (CCC). Under the agreement, CCC will, through its subcontract with a subsidiary of Aecon Group, design and construct a new passenger terminal and related infrastructure under a fixed price, date-guaranteed design and construction contract valued at US$274 million.
