Jordana co-leads the firm's Intellectual Property group. With over 20 years of experience in patent, trademark, and copyright disputes, she is a formidable advocate, recognized on a national and global level for her deep expertise in all areas of IP law, and particularly in patent and trademark disputes. A trusted advisor to her clients, she provides practical and strategic advice to obtain successful results in and out of the courtroom. Jordana regularly acts in proceedings under the PM(NOC) Regulations, patent impeachment and infringement actions, judicial review proceedings, and damages actions. She has appeared as counsel in matters before the Federal Court of Appeal, Federal Court, Ontario Superior Court of Justice, and specialised tribunals, and is also a registered patent and trademark agent. An active member of IPIC, Jordana serves as Treasurer on the Executive Board and previously held roles as Director and Chair of its Annual Conference Committee. She represents the National IP Bar as Chair of the CBA’s Federal Courts Bench & Bar Liaison Committee and is chair of the firm’s AI Task Force. Jordana is a frequent speaker on a wide range of substantive and practice issues and volunteers her time with numerous organizations within the IP community and beyond.
