Marc founded Kestenberg Litigation in 2023. He started his career at Shearman & Sterling, a large US law firm and then worked at two mid-sized Toronto firms, Goodman and Carr and Ogilvy Renault before becoming a partner at Norton Rose Fulbright and then Kestenberg Siegal Lipkus. Marc’s diverse practice experience is an asset to his diverse group of clients – ranging from large publicly traded companies to small family owned businesses, and everything in between. Marc advises and acts for clients on all manner of corporate and commercial litigation, including contract disputes, partnership disputes, shareholder disputes, real estate disputes, franchise disputes, employment disputes and administrative disputes. Marc has a unique ability to analyze complicated situations, consider, simplify and clearly explain the strategic alternatives to his clients and recommend the approach that is most likely to result in the best outcome, whether that is proceeding to court or negotiating a resolution. In 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025, Marc was voted by his peers as one of Toronto’s top commercial litigators by Post City Magazine.
On November 29, 2002, Calgary-based Enerplus Resources Fund, completed a cross-border offering of 7,959,300 trust units for aggregate gross proceeds of approximately $225 million.
