Natalie Rizkalla-Kamel is a Toronto-based Gowling WLG partner practising intellectual property law. She has a broad range of experience in all aspects of IP litigation and trademark prosecution. She has acted for clients from various industries including financial services, cannabis, retail, cosmetics and manufacturing. Natalie has appeared as counsel before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, Federal Court of Canada, and Federal Court of Appeal, and at proceedings before Canada's Trademark Opposition Board. She is also a registered trademark agent in Canada and manages global trademark portfolios, in which she is dedicated to understanding her clients’ business interests and goals in developing an effective prosecution and enforcement strategy for them. Natalie is active in the global IP community and participates in writing and presenting on new developments in intellectual property law. She has an MSc in civil engineering and is licensed as a Professional Engineer (PEng) in Ontario. She has been recognized in The Canadian Legal Lexpert® Directory, The Legal 500 Canada, and WIPR Leaders and, in 2017, she was named one of Lexpert’s Rising Stars: Leading Lawyers Under 40.
