Samantha Cunliffe is a partner in McCarthy Tétrault LLP’s Infrastructure and Project Finance groups in Vancouver. Her practice is primarily focused on the development and financing of complex infrastructure projects. She regularly acts for borrowers and lenders on both the commercial and financing aspects of public-private partnership projects in a wide range of industry sectors including organics, water treatment, social infrastructure, road, rail and other transportation. Recent transactions include advising the successful bidder on the Go Rail Expansion Project, advising the lender to the developer on the Wetaskiwin Wastewater Project and advising the lender to the developer on the Manitoba Fibre Project. Other notable work includes advising the successful bidder on the CCPPP award-winning Edmonton Valley Line West Project and advising the lenders to the successful bidder on the IFLR1000 award-winning Bayers Lake Community Outpatient Centre Project. Samantha is a called to the Bars in British Columbia and Ontario and is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, Vancouver Bar Association, Law Society of British Columbia, and Law Society of Ontario.
