Since being called to the bar in 2009, Shane has been devoted to helping injured people recover the compensation they deserve. He has focused his practice on insurance coverage, benefit entitlement and catastrophic impairment issues. His cases have proceeded before the Ontario Court of Appeal, the Divisional Court, the Superior Court of Justice of Ontario, the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, the Licence Appeal Tribunal and the Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal. Shane has also argued issues relating to entitlement to Canada Pension Plan disability benefits. His caring and compassionate approach to advocacy works to the benefit of his clients especially in cases of complex injuries and impairments. His preparedness allows his clients to achieve their best possible result. In his spare time, Shane is devoted to raising money for cancer research and participates in the Ride to Conquer Cancer. He also volunteers his time to overseeing the safety of one of Ontario’s top alpine ski destinations.
