Trevor Wong-Chor is a Partner in DLA Piper’s Calgary office. His practice involves a broad array of securities and general corporate transactions, ranging from public and private debt and equity financing to mergers and acquisitions, governance, corporate restructuring and recapitalizations, and shareholder activism and defence. Trevor has acted in respect of a number of contested and uncontested take-over situations, for issuers and special committees, as well as a number of corporate and intercorporate arrangements, including reverse take-overs, spin-outs and asset acquisitions and divestitures. Trevor is currently Global Co-Chair, Energy and Natural Resources. Trevor is a former member of the Canadian firm's Executive Committee.
Secure Energy Services Inc. acquired Predator Midstream Ltd. for $107 million. The total purchase price was paid by $65 million in cash with the balance of $42 million paid through the issuance of common shares of Secure Energy.
