Association of Corporate Counsel to hold 2025 annual meeting in Philadelphia this October

The Association of Corporate Counsel will hold its 2025 annual meeting at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia this October.

Over 300 speakers have been invited to discuss topics like governing artificial intelligence governance, complying with international sanctions, defining legal’s role on the board, and developing leaders. Networking events will be held in addition to lectures, including a golf and spa event and a reception.

King & Spalding LLP partner Robert Hudock will host a workshop on AI prompt engineering for in-house lawyers to facilitate the ethical and effective integration of AI into daily legal workflows. Leadership Elevated CEO and managing partner Rochelle Campbell will speak on chief legal officers’ board readiness alongside Erin Essenmacher, Leadership Elevated’s special advisor, practitioner, and faculty member; this discussion touches on the board recruitment process and developing a board resume.

Andrew Ross Sorkin, co-anchor of the CNBC morning news show Squawk Box, will deliver the opening keynote address. Discussing the topic of “The Elephant in the Room: Balancing Global Government Relations in the Current US Administration” are FanDuel Group, Inc. senior director and counsel Sipoura Bardizeh, ML Strategies senior vice president Frank C. Guinta, Mintz member Jason P.W. Halperin, Fannie Mae deputy general counsel Jennifer Mallander, and GE Aerospace general counsel - marine and mobility engines Farah Shah. This talk tackles the impact of changing federal policies on general counsels and risk mitigation in light of the US administration’s moves.

Fisher & Phillips LLP partners Randy Coffey and Barbara D’Aquila will discuss government litigation alongside Fortrex CLO Santiago Alaniz and Susan Dunnings, Lockheed Martin’s vice president and general counsel.

Other topics to be addressed at the four-day event include global supply chains, counterfeit goods, financial literacy, succession planning, and data privacy. Emmy Award winning sportscaster Lindsay Czarniak will be in attendance, as will NFL agent attorney Nicole Lynn.

The ACC annual meeting will take place from October 19 to 22.
