David Torralbo joins Alithya Group as chief legal officer, corporate secretary

Former LeddarTech Holdings Inc. chief legal officer David Torralbo has joined Alithya Group Inc. as its chief legal officer and corporate secretary.

He stepped into the new role on December 15, 2025. He brings over 25 years of corporate and securities law, public and private mergers and acquisitions, litigation and risk management, and corporate governance experience.

Over his three-year tenure with the company, Torralbo helped guide LeddarTech Holdings through its public market debut. He also served as CLO of Nouveau Monde Graphite Inc. and was CLO and vice president at Atrium Innovations Inc. Moreover, he was previously a legal and corporate affairs special advisor at GDI Integrated Facility Services.

As a private practitioner, he was a corporate partner at Davies, Ward, Phillips & Vineberg, where he tackled corporate, M&A, and securities matters for over eight years.

Torralbo has served as the non-executive board chair of Dalton Pharma Services since March 2020, according to LinkedIn. He also sits on the board of Maison St-Raphaël.

He received his civil and common law bachelor's degrees from the University of Ottawa. He also holds a bachelor of commerce degree from McGill University. He commenced his legal career as an associate at Borden Ladner Gervais LLP in 1997, followed by a stint as an associate at Clifford Chance in 2000.

Alithya Group president and chief executive officer Paul Raymond highlighted Torralbo’s “proven track record in legal and strategic roles.” As the company’s CLO and corporate secretary, Torralbo will apply his M&A, legal, and strategic expertise to help execute Alithya Group’s strategic plan.

Alithya Group provides information technology services and solutions. In November 2025, it reported revenues of $124.3 million, reflecting an 11.5 percent increase.

Last month, Hemlo Mining Corp. also announced the appointment of Carl DeLuca as its general counsel and corporate secretary. In November 2025, Cynthia Hill was promoted to general counsel at AutoCanada.
