Delta Air Lines’ legal operations and administration director Laura Dieudonné has been appointed the Corporate Legal Operations Consortium’s first-ever chair.

Dieudonné succeeds board president Áine Lyons in leading the CLOC. In the new chair role, Dieudonné will collaborate with the board and executive leadership in guiding strategy, progressing global initiatives, and improving long-term governance.

She will concentrate on bolstering the leadership of the board and staff.

“Over the past year, we took important steps to strengthen CLOC’s governance and expand the diversity of our board leadership. Laura has earned deep trust across the organization and brings the clarity, empathy, and steady leadership needed for this next chapter. She understands how to scale responsibility and stewardship while protecting what makes CLOC unique and valuable for our members,” Lyons said in a statement.

The CLOC board member founded and presently leads the consortium’s inclusion and social impact council, which aims to progress inclusive leadership and champion equity and access. Dieudonné led the council to grow the service initiative CLOC Cares into a foundation that integrated community service and volunteer engagement into CLOC’s wider leadership and development initiatives.

She has been active in the organization since 2016. She has served as Atlanta regional group lead and sat on the CLOC’s scholarship committee member. Moreover, she was a founding member of its Education Advisory Council.

CLOC president and CEO Oyango Snell highlighted Dieudonné’s grasp of governance, staff execution, and member engagement.

“The election of our inaugural chair, alongside expanded leadership roles within the board, reflects a more mature organization – one that values diverse leadership, lived experience, and unique perspectives as essential to where we’re headed,” Snell said.

The CLOC board reelected Frances Pomposo as treasurer and named its first treasurer-elect in Kirsten Taitelbaum. Lyons will remain with the board as officer and European lead.

Earlier this month, the consortium unveiled its new leadership council members.
