ConnectWise acquires Toronto-based agentic AI startup zofiQ

Deal brings AI-powered automation to MSP service desks across the ConnectWise PSA platform

On January 20, 2026, Tampa, Florida-based ConnectWise, a leading software and services company dedicated to the success of IT solution providers, completed its acquisition of zofiQ, a Toronto-based agentic AI company purpose-built to automate high-volume service desk operations for managed service providers (MSPs). Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Founded in 2023, zofiQ delivers AI agents that operate directly within ConnectWise's professional services automation (PSA) workflows to handle routine tasks including ticket triage, remediation, prioritization, routing, and documentation, helping MSPs scale service delivery without scaling headcount.

ConnectWise positioned the acquisition as a foundational step toward a system in which AI agents absorb large volumes of repetitive operational work while human technicians focus on oversight, escalation, and higher-value customer engagement. The company cited measurable operating impact already being delivered by zofiQ in ConnectWise PSA partner environments, including a 20 percent increase in endpoints managed per technician, 50 percent fewer reactive hours through automation, 2-3 hours saved per agent per day, and 90-97 percent accuracy in triage and classification, translating into margin improvements of up to 30 percent for MSPs. ConnectWise has indicated that zofiQ's role will broaden beyond PSA over time, extending as a horizontal agentic AI layer across the broader ConnectWise portfolio, including its remote monitoring and management, cybersecurity, and data platform offerings. zofiQ co-founder Lee Silverstone joined the ConnectWise leadership team in connection with the acquisition.
