Thomson Completes Bond Offering

Thomson Corporation completed a US$700 million global bond offering of notes due January 5, 2012. This offering, completed on November 20, 2001, was the first public offering of securities outside Canada by Thomson. Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc., JPMorgan and Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc. were joint book-running managers.
