Kelly is the head of Osler’s Advertising & Marketing Practice Group. Her practice has an emphasis on consumer facing issues, including marketing, advertising, distribution, e-commerce and intellectual property matters. She works extensively with businesses operating in both online and traditional formats including retailers, manufacturers and distributors, as well as with advertising and promotional agencies. She provides business minded advice to clients on various aspects of doing business in Canada, including consumer protection legislation, advertising and promotions, packaging and labelling, French language issues, e-commerce, distribution arrangements, and pricing matters. Kelly’s practice also extends to various aspects of intellectual property law, including the protection, registration and licensing of intellectual property rights and the protection of confidential information. She also regularly provides transaction and litigation support in marketing, trade practice, distribution and intellectual property matters.
