At Howie, Sacks & Henry (HSH) we are dedicated to handling the most serious personal injury cases with professionalism, expertise and compassion. This level of dedication has consistently lead to HSH being ranked as one of Canada’s Top Personal Injury Law firms in Canadian Lawyer Magazine, as voted by our peers.
Founded by James Howie, Neil Sacks and Michael Henry in 2000, HSH has since grown to 22 lawyers supported by clerks, assistants and staff who help us obtain great results in a timely and efficient manner for our clients.
At Howie, Sacks and Henry we handle cases that include serious and catastrophic injury claims, medical malpractice, long term disability denials, slip and fall accidents, and many other types of cases where clients have suffered significant harm.
Howie, Sacks & Henry also handles mass tort and class action lawsuits on behalf of people injured by dangerous products, medications and medical devices. These include victims who have developed cancer caused by the use of baby powder, suffered life-altering side effects of prescription drugs, or who have been adversely impacted by defective medical devices including St. Jude Defibrillators, hernia mesh, and Essure contraceptive devices. HSH is co-lead counsel in a national class action brought on behalf of provincial, territorial, and federal governments to recover opioid crisis-related healthcare costs. We act for people who have been involved in aviation crashes, including families and victims in recent incidents involving Fly Jamaica, Ethiopian Airlines, and Ukraine International Airlines. We are co-leading a class action lawsuit against a prominent Toronto plastic surgeon (the self-styled “Dr.6ix”) who posted photographs and videos of his nude and semi-nude patients to social media without their knowledge or consent. We are also proud to advocate for Canadians who have served and sacrificed for our country, through our Mefloquine and Havana Syndrome mass tort cases.
We are proud of the service we provide and our reputation within the legal community and we will continue to work tirelessly in order to help accident victims reclaim and rebuild their lives after sustaining serious injuries.
