Frank's practice focuses on complex transactions involving acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, reorganizations, and international and domestic joint ventures. He has over 30 years of experience in structuring and negotiating acquisitions and divestitures of both private and public companies. Frank has represented clients in the food, beverage, agribusiness, manufacturing, service, technology and retail sectors, among others. Minto Apartment Real Estate Investment Trust (the REIT) (TSX: MI.UN) completed its initial public offering of 15,863,100 trust units at a price of $14.50 per unit (the Offering). The Offering raised gross proceeds of $230,014,950, including through exercise of the underwriters’ over-allotment option in full which option exercise was completed July 10. The units trade on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the symbol MI.UN.
Canada Bread Company, Limited, a subsidiary of Grupo Bimbo S.A.B. de C.V., acquired Saputo Bakery Inc. (Saputo Bakery Division) from Saputo Inc. (Saputo). The purchase price of $120 million was paid in cash at closing.
