Lara is the founder and Co-Leader of our Retail and Consumer Markets Group and a partner in our Business Law Group. She is a trusted advisor to consumer-facing businesses looking to establish or grow in the Canadian market, leveraging her industry experience to help clients navigate the changing landscape, capitalize on opportunities and overcome challenges. She advises global retailers and brands entering Canada (through M&A, e-commerce, bricks and mortar or a combination) on their market entry strategies and related legal issues. Retail industry clients seek out her advice on multifaceted issues and matters such as operational issues, new channels, business lines and customer experiences, and growth across markets. Lara excels at negotiating M&A transactions, loyalty and credit card programs and commercial matters for retailers (including e-commerce/digital) and consumer facing businesses.
