Wildeboer Dellelce has announced the appointment of Marcus Hinkley – a lawyer experienced in domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions, private equity investments, and foreign investment matters – as a new partner in its corporate practice group.
In its news release, the Toronto-based firm shared that he has more than a decade of corporate law experience.
Hinkley has helped clients handle various corporate and commercial matters, as well as negotiate and coordinate complex cross-border transactions. Beyond transactional work, he has experience in corporate reorganizations, foreign investment matters, and the delivery of general corporate and commercial advice.
His client base has spanned the life sciences, technology, professional services, manufacturing, and retail sectors. He has specifically addressed matters involving hydrogen, pharmaceuticals, blockchain, and cryptocurrencies.
Originally from England, Hinkley commenced and established his legal career abroad before coming to Toronto. According to the firm, this background equips him to tackle cross-border matters from a global perspective.
“We look forward to the leadership and strategic insight Marcus will bring to our corporate practice group and firm as we continue to grow,” stated Wildeboer Dellelce’s news release.
According to Hinkley’s Lexpert biography, the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory has featured him as a repeatedly recommended leading lawyer in the corporate mid-market area.
