Brian’s civil litigation practice includes a wide range of matters, including complex financial disputes, class actions, securities, civil fraud and defamation. His clients have included Canadian and foreign public and private companies, professionals (including securities professionals, accountants, doctors, auditors, and lawyers), governments, regulators, and NGOs. Brian has acted as lead counsel at trial and on appeal, and has appeared before all levels of Court in Canada, including the Supreme Court of Canada, and numerous administrative tribunals. In addition to his practice, Brian coaches the Queen’s University OTLA trial moot team and, in 2018, was honoured with Queen’s University’s Dan Soberman Outstanding Young Alumni Award.
