Michel focuses on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, and corporate finance transactions. He regularly represents Canadian businesses in domestic and outbound transactions, as well as US, European, and other international clients investing in Canada through M&A, joint ventures, or greenfield investments. Earlier in his career, Michel practised corporate and securities law in New York. Michel is a frequent speaker on M&A, private equity, and cross-border transactions, and has published numerous articles on these topics. He has presented at leading industry conferences and legal forums across North America and internationally. He has been involved with the American Bar Association (ABA) for over 20 years and currently holds leadership roles in its Business Law Section.
