Raj is a tax partner whose practice involves all aspects of domestic and international tax planning. He has extensive experience in corporate reorganizations, domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, international tax planning, corporate finance, derivatives and resource tax. Raj also regularly advises tax-exempt institutions (such as pension funds), private equity funds and financial institutions. He is a frequent writer for the Canadian Tax Foundation, the International Bar Association, the International Tax Review, the Ontario Bar Association, CCH’s International Tax and Tax Topics newsletters and is the co-author of Taxation of Corporate Reorganizations. He previously taught International Tax Law at the University of Western Ontario Law School.
