Jules Charette is a senior partner at Norton Rose Fulbright in Montréal. He specializes in most fields related to corporate tax at the domestic and international levels, including mergers & acquisitions, reorganizations, capital markets, project financing, structured finance, derivatives, financial instruments, infrastructure projects, cross-border transactions and executive compensation. He has also developed an expertise in estate planning for individuals. He regularly advises a number of major Canadian public companies and family offices. He is a member of various organizations, including the Canadian Tax Foundation and the International Fiscal Association. Mr. Charette sits on the boards of a number of private companies and charitable organizations. He was called to the Québec Bar in 1981.
