Practice focuses on corporate and securities law, including corporate finance (both domestic and cross-border), mergers and acquisitions, collective investment vehicles and registration and licensing matters. Recently ranked Band 1 (top ranking) in Chambers Canada Capital Markets: Debt and Equity – Canada and he is recognized in Chambers Canada for corporate commercial work in Ontario. Andrew is involved in both public and private offerings for issuers, investors and underwriters with extensive experience in debt capital markets transactions. His experience also includes advising on numerous cross-border private placements and public and private mergers and acquisitions. He has particular expertise in the area of debt capital markets in Canada. Recent transactions include acting for Stelco Holdings Inc. in its IPO, acting for the underwriters in Nexa Resources’ IPO, acting for the dealers in Yellow Pages Media high yield bond offering, and acting for issuers and underwriters on numerous bank, insurance company, finance company, real estate and other offerings. Andrew was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 1996 and the New York Bar in 2004.
